Our History

Serving the Campbellsville Community with Joy

St Mark Methodist Church stands as a beacon of faith in Campbellsville that prides itself as being a warm and welcoming community of faith.

On Easter Sunday 1951, a group of members of First United Methodist Church, Campbellsville and the former Morton's Chapel, held St Mark MC's inaugural service. The church was planted a stone's throw away from Campbellsville University to better serve its faculty, students and surrounding community, which we continue to do today.

We invite you to come join us and be transformed by the love of God, the teachings of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Read more about our history here.

We love one another as God loves us.

We bear witness to the love of God as the Holy Spirit empowers and leads us.
